During my recent business trip to Johannesburg, my director chose 27A On Angus as our accommodation. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience at this hotel. One of the highlights was the massage service offered. Despite being slightly late for my appointment, the massage therapist still graciously accommodated me. The relaxation and rejuvenation I felt afterwards were much needed after a long day of meetings. Another great aspect was the recreational amenities, particularly the outdoor pool. It provided a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing me to unwind and soak up some sun. The pool area was well-maintained and provided a serene atmosphere for relaxation.
There was a minor issue during check-in that overshadowed the otherwise pleasant stay.

I had a very good stay at this hotel. The staff was attentive and quick to respond to any questions or issues I had. The rooms are advertised as having an attached bathroom, which was a nice feature. Additionally, the location is within walking distance to Eastgate mall, which worked perfectly for me.
The only minor issue I encountered was that the shower leaked a bit through the door, causing some water to accumulate on the bathroom floor.

We were delighted with the great location of the accommodation, which was conveniently close to Eastgate and Bedford Centre. The fact that it was situated on a safe, boomed off street provided peace of mind. The room was not only comfortable but also had a pleasant scent, creating a relaxing atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised by the little extras such as bottled water, a bottle of wine, and snacks, which added a special touch to our stay. Additionally, the private bathroom across from our room was clean and perfect for our needs. Lastly, the fully equipped kitchen was a big plus, allowing us to cook meals and store our food.
Felt like being in the comfort of our own home, with nothing to complain about.

Had a fantastic Xmas stay in a beautifully luxurious apartment. the grounds were well-kept and peaceful. Location was perfect across the road from a gym and shopping mall. Loved the spacious, clean accommodation, and the warm welcome from the staff. the little treats on arrival and the complementary items were a lovely touch. Enjoyed the big sparkling swimming pool, perfect for a refreshing dip.
Only downside was having to arrange an early departure in advance as it's not possible to leave before 9:30. But overall, it was a great experience and I'd definitely stay again.

Spent a wonderful christmas at this place! The room was perfectly clean, and the sheets and towels were of great quality. The location was superb, with many attractions nearby. The peace and quiet of the surroundings was amazing, no disturbances whatsoever. The big UHD TV and fast wifi were definitely a bonus!
While our stay was amazing overall, we did hear our neighbours talking and moving around late at night, which was quite annoying. The bathroom situation was also a bit uncomfortable - having to go out of the room in the middle of the night wasn't ideal.

Beautiful Gardens: The hotel's gardens are like a peaceful oasis, divided into different parts that offer a serene and tranquil ambiance. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day of exploring the city.
External Bathroom: The only downside was the external bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient, especially during late-night trips.
